The boy is 1!
Raven is a late bloomer. He still has his 'muddy' baby colors. He only started dropping a few feathers per week since last month. The adult Bronze Winged is a beautiful dark blue on the front and head. I'm waiting... Lol. He's late, the BW I had before him was already half in color by 1 year old.

My order from MSBS should be here in several days (surprises for everyone ) but for today the toys I gave Raven was an SS skewer that I've refilled with new wood blocks, also a coconut toy that I've taken the ugly sisal rope off of and re-strung with braided leather and beads. It's actually new, I never could find a place to put it, so didn't use it til now. The coconut could be used for treats, foot toys, stuffed with paper, etc. Today I think I'll put Nutriberries in it

I told Raven that Delfin, an Aussie Alex's b-day is today also. He started mumbling something. I think he was trying to say to tell him happy birthday

I know, LOL pics are coming... A little "someone" kept trying to photo bomb

The coconut toy is too small for their body. It's really made for Lovebirds and that size. I figure they can reach their heads in and get stuff out.

I need to get to my phone to post pics. Coming....

Thanks... Just wait til he has his 'adult color' plumage! Dark blue body with pink throat and metallic bronze wings. I can't wait. He's looking a little scruffy now from molting a little.

That darn Griffin... He is always 'assuming' that everything is always about HIM, and everything is HIS :20:. It's actually pretty funny.

Lol Trish, thanks. I'll tell Raven that Barney is a late bloomer too, and that he's okay with it . I'll also tell him that you said he's looking like a macho young man, as he doesn't see many ladies to give him complements!

Raven and Griffin enjoying their Nutriberries. Griffin was done first, and of course tried to steal from the birthday boy! Raven wouldn't have done that to Griffin... That Griffin is rude! Lol


Raven enjoying a dish of "birthday seeds"... ALONE. Oh no, he sees someone approaching... Actually, I was surprised that Griffin didn't join in the seeds tonight. He just let Raven eat in peace for once.


Robin had his treats and is happy playing by himself


I couldn't get a good shot of Twigs the Budgie, but he was enjoying his special treats too

Glad everyone enjoyed their treats! It sounds like Griffin even enjoyed someone else's (treat the naughty little thing). I sure hope Raven always wanted a little buddy, because it looks like he has one for life now Robin is adorable too, hanging upside down on his toy
