Ralph is 5 Years Old Today!

Today is Ralph's 5th Hatchday!

He was in a cheerful mood today, in spite of being in the midst of a molt. He enjoyed some of the parrot treats he got for hatchday gifts. His new parrot toys will undoubtedly be ignored for a while at least.

Ralph and I thank you for your good wishes.

He does look pretty good, considering that he's molting a few feathers every day. His tail doesn't look quite like it should, since the longer tail feathers are gone 'til the new ones grow in.

I've always thought Ralph was a beautiful quaker, his feathers are always perfectly in place. I hope his fifth year is fantastic and the two of you celebrate many more hatch day celebrations together.
