Happy (belated) hatchday Harvey!

He really enjoyed the birdie bread (cake!) with peanut butter (icing! My wife's idea) on it.

We wanted to get him a little birthday hat, but couldn't find any. I have seen pictures on the web of them, though... (if anyone knows where we can get one for next year)

He was afraid of the plate for some reason, but happily ate when I lifted the 'cake' up. I managed to lower it, slowly, fairly close. And then he realized what I was doing and took off for a spin around the room before landing closer to the edge and eating what was there.

We were actually a little late in doing this, because we couldn't remember the exact date and had to re-find the paperwork. I suppose I need to get a filing cabinet lol.. I'm so horrible with dates.

Wow, he's really cute. I almost got a Hahn's instead of my yellow shoulder, Salty. The place even had a couple, but Salty kinda picked me. Happy Hatchin' Day there lil feller.

Heh, well I didn't get to introduce him to anyone until April since that is when he was weaned and able to be shipped. But the official hatch day has now passed.

My breeder did an awesome job and we've been extremely happy to have the little stinker around. He wanted to be with us as much as possible since day one. Such a cuddly bugger, which is exactly what we wanted.
