THANK YOU FOR IRN SECTION. I may be late in saying thanks, but I haven't been around much. So, yeh Thank you!

Also, guys do your IRN's like boiled eggs, I am slowly trying to get Damien interested. And I hear the shell is good for them too, right?

Egg shells can rip the crop , intestines.... Some people offer eggshell finely ground. I do not, not worth the risk. If calcium is a concern, shave off a little cuttlebone onto wet and fresh foods.

Also, thanks for the tip on the cuttlebone, I never thought to do that! He always knocked his to the floor of his cage! And finches use theirs as perches! lol

I give Codie Eggshells and she loves them! Alot of Members on here give their Birds Eggshells as they are very good for them!

There have been several cases of birds suffering cut crops from eating egg shell. I do not recommend it. It only takes one time.
