Are These Lutino's?

Hi everyone
I picked up this pair yesterday and was wondering if they are pure
lutino's or are the split to something.

There is no way to tell what they are split to.

The male is a lutino. I'm not sure about the hen.

Any way to ask the seller what they are?

The hen looks like some sort of olive mutation... I don't know ring necks or their mutations though.

Thank you both for your reply's, yes I didn't think the hen was a pure lutino, the person I got them from did not breed them.

Hi, the Lutinos are usually a clear striking canary yellow, most also have red eyes and the males ring ought to be white and black sometimes they do have some red in though. Can't really judge the male by the pic but the females definitely an olive. May I suggest you first do research about ringneck mutations and so on, then it will be easier for you to classify your birds, and no one will be able to sell you birds under false mutation pretences, its also going to make life easier for you when you start selling chicks to know the proper colour clasifications. In my opinion the male looks more like a buttercup than a lutino. Have a great day
