I've decided! IRN

I was going back and forth between quite a few birds and I have finally decided. IRN it is! So of course, I have questions, question and more questions!
Around how much should an IRN cost? Of course I want a healthy and well socialized bird, which is something I am willing to pay for, but I don't want to overpay.
Do you guys keep you IRN's wings clipped? Does anybody use a flight suit or aviator harness on your bird?
What is the best way to introduce your new bird to your other birds? I have two cockatiels and they could be kept in separate spaces if things didn't work out - but of course I want them to all be friends!
What size cage do you guys all use?
Is clicker training the best way to go? Can I start with that right away?
Are there any major differences in talking abilities between males and females?

It looks like I am a little to 'young' here to send a PM.....but thanks for the answers! I was wondering where is the best place to look for an IRN. Locally I have found a store that sells them - but for 400. I have looked on birdbreeders.com and have found them more reasonable for around 300. But unless they are close to me (eastern PA) I would have to have them shipped. Any experience with shipping birds? or buying birds that you have yet to meet?

$150 sounds REALLY cheap for a fully weaned IRN.

I just visited bird mania the other day and if I remember correctly their ringnecks were 400. I thought that might be a little high.

Green IRNs where I am start at $150, with it going into $300-400 for rarer color mutations. I didn't keep my IRNs clipped. I have to warn you though, IRNs don't typically play nice with other birds. You'll have an advantage since the IRN is the new bird and the cockatiels are established, but I would still keep them in separate cages.

Not sure what they get for IRNs but you may have been asking about one of the violets.. They are beautiful but more $$$..

To be honest, I'd have no prob paying a bit more for a bird that I know was fully weaned and properly cared for from hatchling.. JMHO

Im in Maryland and drove to Va to get my IRN...all colors were $400, and violets were $700...that was hand fed and dna tested. That seems to be the norm around here for a reputable breeder.
