My 4 week old IRN still has no name. He is green, and although we are not sure, we have reason to believe he is male, but a male name for a female bird does not bother us. The options we are currently considering are listed above, please vote, or suggest a new one!

Options we have already discarded include Kiwi, Mango, Skittles, Baby, and Charlie.

I think if you call him Link and he is green people will think Legend of Zelda before Lincoln--but maybe I'm just a geek showing my age LOL.

I had actually thought about the video game connection as well! Lol! I have never had such a hard time naming a pet before! Poor little guy just gets called "baby ringy" most of the time right now.

Ah yes, one of the hardest part of owning a parrot...choosing the name LOL!

How about Vira. A worrior in sanskrit. Often used in yoga.
I think it is also suitable for both males and females.
