Welcome to the forums. :)

Unless your baby came from a reputable breeder who had him sexed via DNA (and can provide a certificate), you won't know his exact age until he develops his ring, which can take up to 18 months.

Hello and Welcome! You have a beautiful little IRN, I love the color.

A normal male IRN rings out at about 2 years, but it can start happening as young as 6 months or wait until the 3rd year. Once all the black is gone from his beak it is very difficult to determine age other than by the ring, and even that is VERY loose.

DNA sexing costs only around $20.
