Should I buy hand feed or not hand feed ?

Hello,
I have IRN for 1.5 year and i think its a girl. She is hand feeded and very close with me. I want to buy male IRN as a partner so i will appreciate and advice from you guys, should i buy hand feed or not hand feed male.

Never buy a bird for another bird. Only buy a second bird if you want him even if they hate each other and try to kill each other. For the record, none of my handfed female Irns accept ANY other birds regardless of sex or species or whether they were raised together.
