Any suggestions for my 1.5" bar spacing?

Hi, I've had my Indian Ringneck for about 9 months or so now and our routine is that he's out all day and then goes back to his cage at night time.

His cage isn't as big as I'd like and feel that he needs more room so I went for a cage I found on a local selling group as it looked perfect for him on the photo, after buying the cage I realised that the bar spacing is far too wide and that he'd be able to put his head through (I couldn't tell on the picture) and it was my dad who picked it up otherwise I would have known when buying it

It measures exactly 1.5" from bar to bar

I was wondering if there is some sort of aviary wire I could buy that I could put around the cage and that isn't toxic?

I've looked online and haven't found much about it so I'm stuck!

I've seen many aviary wires on ebay but really not sure on what I'm looking for.

Any help is much appreciated! thank you! :green1:

I would just sell, or return that cage and get one one with correct bar spacing. You can use stainless steel mesh.

Unfortunately I don’t know of any safe options for something like this, and if you do find one it will be unbelievably ugly. I recommend selling the cage.
