Hello, is this DF Violet or SF Violet SF cobalt?
She is a female and already has babies that have various mutations. Her partner is lutino / blue.
Thank you for answer.

I have no expertise with ringnecks, or their many mutations, but I must say, WOW! What a beauty you have there! Gorgeous!!!

I'm not sure how to tell SF from DF, but will say... since she's a breeding hen....

If all offspring turn out to be violets (even green birds - not sure what a SF violet lutino would look like?) then she's DF. If only some of them turn out to be violet, then she's SF.

Yes, I know, every baby turns purple, but one looks like a cobalt. Lutino does not have melanin in its feathers, so the purple color is not visible. But the structure of the feathers should show a purple sheen. I just don't know what the cobalt Violet and DF Violet look like.
Then I'll send a better photo of the babies.

Hello,
There are two larger babies in the picture. In the sun and in the shade.
Both of them are different violets. My friend and I talked compared cobalt ringneck and these babies. Babies are different purple colour.
I still don't know what mutation it is.
Will you help me?
