I just tried to sign up for these guys and the customer service is so bad that I feel like I’m being scammed. I finally managed to talk to someone and she took my number and said somebody will reach out to you. I said ok quietly and she said is that ok William. Again I say ok strangely and she again says is that ok. I’m like this person does not sound like the kind of person who should be dealing with people. I can’t even manage to send them pictures of Timneh it’s set up so
strangely. worst of all I signed something. I can’t sign into the site or anything. Pretty sure these jerks just took me for a ride. So i sent an email got the number to send my pictures now and get this in their reply they only put the phone number nothing else. Worst customer service I have ever seen.

I could also be over reacting I was sick yesterday and haven’t had a lot of sleep this last week. I’m just stressed out. It’s been a bad dream this whole last week.

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
If you look them up and think it is a scam, report it to your bank and dispute the transaction etc. Explain what you are worried about to them in case any odd charges show up.

I am so sorry you are going through this....
Just remember, people can and do find their birds many months later.

I have found that the Microchip organizations are much better since there is a specific number that is a lock between the pet and owner that can be read by nearly any Vet.

Pictures are not seen a positive identification of Parrots. Pictures of areas with physical deformities or missing digits, etc, helps. But the only identification that is accepted by legal systems worldwide is Microchips.
They may or may not be a scam, but their ability to connect owner with pet is weak at best!
Just my two cents.

Just know you have a lot of people here who are praying and feeling very hard for timneh's return. I know I am - I've been thru the terrible feelings you are going thru, back when there was no Internet and almost zero support from anyone.

Timneh is out there, keep up hope and be of good cheer.
