Sorry to hear of your loss. Some bird owners have tried placing the cage in the park. Also try Craigslist. Looking and posting in Craigslist has been know to get results.

Thank you shoegoo! i will try placing his travel cage in the park. i will also think about posting in craigslist . thank you for your advice .
Also , does anyone think he will be smart enough to find his way back to the place where he flew away from ?

Dear Hannah rio, I have a GCC who flew out a door opened carelessly. Paddy was captured in a laundry basket trying to eat neighbor's picnic.We posted on facebook and we were contacted. He was 2 streets over and was gone 2 days.Post and pray!
