Can someone please let me know what type/colour, my lovebirds are. The first picture is of the 2 parents, whilst the other 3 photos are of their babies. First baby is 38 days old, 2nd baby is 34 days old and 3rd baby is 27 days old. Apologies for not posting the best of photos but I can assure you these are the best I have. Thanks to all for your help.

I just love baby lovebirds, I am a breeder of lovebirds, and it looks like the yellow one is a white face lutino(possibly red eyes?) and the green one is a peach face. the very last picture looks like the baby might be pied, tough to tell cause all the feathers on the back have not come in yet, either way they are all adorable :)

One parent (father?) appears to be a Seagreen, the other (mother?) a Creamino (Par-blue Ino, either Dutch Blue Ino or Seagreen Ino). Both parents are split for pied.

Two chicks are pied and one is probably a seagreen, although it would be easier to tell once the chick gets his/her adult colors.

New photos of the chicks may help. Not an expert on lovebird mutations, but that's my take on it!

I researched this on the web, the father is seagreen, however the mother is Lutino, she has the brighter yellow, where as the creaminos are a pale or lighter yellow, hope this helps!

She is not a lutino peachface. She is a creamino. You can tell she's not a lutino because she doesn't have the bright peachy face, but the face of a par-blue bird. Her color is not quite rich enough for a lutino, either.

There are two par-blue mutations, which can be combined, resulting in 3 different appearing par-blue birds. And these three can be combined with lutino, resulting in 3 different creamino mutations.

Here's a great example of a lutino peach face!

And a website that kind of points out the difference between the two.

Confusing, isn't it? I still easily get mixed up with the par-blues, especially young par-blues that may look like one color until they molt out into their adult colors which look different!

And pied can also change the colors somewhat...so might make identifying a mutation a little trickier.
