A customer of mine just sent me this you tube video!! this is one of my baby lovebirds we hand raised, a beautiful peach face pied she named Dou Dou

she purchased the lovebird back in December just before Christmas.
I couldn't be more proud of my little one!!!.....so smart!

it almost looks like she's in the movie making industry, I know she travels plenty, but never really knew what she does for a living.

A while back she was complaining to me that he was biting, so I explained to her to start clicker training and trying some tricks....the rest is history :D:D

Crimson, a friend of mine just got a lovebird and this post is always in the back of my mind! I searched "proud" in this forum, found it again, and sent her the link. My Orville is 19 now, but if I had to do it all over again, I would SO clicker train him! I just think it's awesome to see what these little beauties can do and how smart they are. Just wanted to say thanks again for posting this.

your welcome.....I'm very proud mama, even though I didn't do the training.

when my customer came here to buy Dou Dou, she seemed to be the least knowledgeable about birds. ....now look at her, she has turned a very defiant, unruly bird into a happy go lucky, loving bird.
he was so tame when he left here, but you know how it is.....you have to start from square one basically with lovebirds.
thanks for kind words.
btw, she has a second video of how she trained him....I'll put it on here so you can see it.

one more thing, I wonder what happened to the sound?
