dust & love birds

Hi to everyone. I was wondering how dusty Love Birds are. I really like them very much.My son had Cockatiels when he lived here and had to keep them in his room as they were so dusty I could not live with them.

They really arent that dusty I dont notice their dust at all and if you have allergies just keep windows open in the summer and you can buy an air purifier that will keep the air clean of dust.

From what I've heard and read, cockatiels are the dustiest birds. Lovies are not.

I haven't noticed much dust. Their debris is just mostly feathers and seed husks. I have a seed catcher around the bottom of each cage which helps.

i have tiels and lovies. lovies are not dusty, but cockatiels are. lovebirds i find make more mess with food and toys though
