Baby lovebird advice needed

My friend had a pair of lovebirds, lay eggs and hatch out four babies. They killed two of them and started plucking at the other two. She works a lot and can't take care of them so I volunteered to. I took in a 4 week old cockatiel and head raised him with no problems. I have tried to feed them twice with no luck, they don't try at all to eat from the syringe. Does any one have any advise on what to do to get them to take the formula? Oh, they are in the two week age range.

It's been a few days now. Usually with chicks that refuse to eat, you just have to keep on trying.

Are they doing ok still?

Thank you for your replys. I couldn't get to a computer long enough to reply. They are doing wonderful. I am really enjoying this whole experience. I think i panicked a little bit. I should have known something I mixed together didn't taste quite like mom made it :).

Glad that the chicks are thriving now under your care! I was a little worried that something had happened!
