Hello everyone!

quick questions. I've never verified the sex of my lovebird. He/She has been dancing with the wings in the air and lifting tail feather... Does this mean she's a female or a male can do this too?

thanks a lot! I was always told via characteristics it was a male but now i'm thinking otherwise. thank you!

*more than likely* you have a girl

BUT, males can do it too. my DNA'd male lovebird displays like this as well. and my DNA'd egg laying female also humps things like a boy. so unfortunately its not foolproof. the best way to tell is with DNA testing :)

i've never heard of that. if they clean their beak on a perch--all birds of all genders do it :)
