Hi.. day before yesterday i saw my youngest bird lying on the cage floor.. so i took him and applied a little water on his head and mouth.. bt within seconds he was dead.. i tought the parents throw him out.. but when i checked later another one was on the floor.. bt he wasnt dead.. so i took the nest box and kept it in the ground.. the baby birds are always goin out of nest box and runnin around the cage..is it ok to leave them like that.. yesterday mornin i checked the birds and the crop was totally empty.. so i fed them and kept them in the box.. today also i checked and fed them.. am i doing the right thing?? i only feed them in mornin..so the big question is are the parents still feeding them?? bacause i have never seen them feeding their babies.. can a 2 week old bird survive with only mornin feed that i am feeding ???

No, a two week old bird cannot survive on one feeding a day.

If the chicks are dying, you may need to find an avian vet and/or breeder who can help you out and take over the care of the chicks.

This should of been something you considered on before ever letting your birds breed. The parents can toss them out and abandon them, even killing them. When they do try to do stuffs like this you need to make time to hand feed. One time a day isn't going to do it! What kind of birds are they???

How many babies are there? What kind of birds are they?

If you don't have experience in hand feeding, it's best if you find a breeder or avian vet like Monica said to take over their care....hand feeding is not something a novice should attempt because there are so many things that could go wrong. And if you're not able to do the 'round-the-clock feedings that they require, then you need to get them to someone who can.

And if the parents are already kicking them out then you need to get them to someone who can care for them ASAP.

Well it seems like the parents are not throwing the babies out.. the babies are goin out of box and just roming around the cage.
They are lovebirds and two babies are there. I take the babies out every mornin and feed them, after feedin i keep them back in the nest box.. the parents are still bonded with the babies.. i have seen them cuddlin with the babies..and i think they are also feeding them..because i only feed them in mornin..bt check two or three times to c if the babies are ok.. i know how to hand feed baby birds.. never had a problem with feeding.. and the birds are 3+ weeks old..

With all due respect, you either pull them completely and hand rear them or you let the parents do the job. If the parents aren't caring for them properly, I suggest you take over their job, and that entails feeding them 3 times a day (maybe even 4).

You said you have experience, so I assume you know all about weighing the chicks, temperature of formula, cleanliness, and what all to watch out for. :)
