Sick Lovie?

Hi I have two peach-faced lovebirds, one appears to be perfectly healthy, however the other one I am a little worried about. I would go to the vet however there are no avian vets in my area and its a bit of a drive to the nearest one so I thought I would ask opinions before making the journey.

It (still haven't DNAed yet) is fluffy all the time and keeps winking/closing only the right eye while the other eye is open as normal. If I didn't look at the other eye I would think its about to fall asleep from the look of the right eye. I noticed it's been doing this only today. Some other info: it eats and drinks normal, interacts with the other bird fine and plays with all its toys. We have her in a large cage we used for my conure before we upgraded my conure to an even larger cage, so they have ample cage space. I washed the cage thoroughly before switching them in and they rarely ever have contact with my conure because they just don't get along.

Thanks for any feedback/tips! I hope it's okay >.<

The problem could be almost anything, from a speck of dust to an eyelash feather barb to an infection.....if the problem persists, I think you're going to have to weigh the bird's potential health against the inconvenience of the inconvenient road trip.....I moved, about a year ago & now live some 80 miles from my veterinarian, over 50 miles further than before.....
