Hello, yesterday I brought my first pair of love birds. Johnny-4months and baby-6months.
So I need help with Johnny, the hobby breeder I brought them from had 103 lovebirds he looked after them dearly but, did apologise that he couldn't tame them all. Johnny does have a fear of hands but luckily he lets me feed him from my hand but won't stand on them. The man recommended starting the "step up" command the next day but Johnny bit my finger in which bruised very quickly but, I still keep trying or I just leave my hand in their for 5-10 minutes not touching them just so it might make them feel safer. I just wanted to know what you guys would recommend how to start or what to start with?
