I would like some help and advice. I have a 8 week old lovebird who is still weaning. On the 21st november the breeder told me to stop feeding him at 5 o´clock and then on the 24th stop the 10 o´clock feeds so that he should refuse his moring feeds after another two days. Its been four days and he still wants his morning feed at ten, he eats seeds but sill doesnt drink water. I tryed to put some water drops on his beak to show him where the water bottle is, but it hasnt worked (water is still at same level).
At what age do they normaly start drinking? Do you think he is getting enough fluids?
