1 Lutino Peachfaced Lovebird named Jello
Here's another picture of my sole baby chick! Mom and Dad are already gearing up for more (caught them in "the act" yesterday!) So I guess this little one should be getting ready to fledge soon.

It's about 5 weeks now, I found him at the top of the cage yesterday too. Little stinker climbed up there and couldn't get down. I left it there for most of the evening (6 hrs) before placing it back in the nest before I went to bed, I wanted to see if it would get down on its own, so I hope I did the right thing!

Anywho, I digress! We have a name! Everyone meet Jello!

PS - any ideas of a free/cheap dna sexing kit for canada? I would like to know for certain as eventually I eould like a companion bird for it of the same sex. I really, really don't want to be breeding!!

--PUMPKIN - male YS GCC. Hatched Halloween Day 2014. Came home Jan. 4, 2015. Started talking in July '15!

-BUTTERNUT- female TYS GCC Hatched in late Jan. 2016 and came home March 14, 2016
AWWW such a cute baby!! And what an absolutely adorable name!! Jello, i LOVE that!

I heard of a bird called Scribble once.... LOVE that too! So creative.

Jello is so cute! I've always used Avian Biotech but I believe there is a place in Canada that DNA's birds too.. Accumetrics or something like that, I'll see if I can find you the link......
