Hi
Urgent help is needed.

Today one of my lovebird's eggs cracked and their baby comes out.
But they throw it out from the nest.
When I put the their baby again in the cage I saw the male bird again throw it out of the nest and it was dropped down the nest to down of the cage.
Unfortunately the male pecked the baby in a way that the baby was blooded.

I put the male outside the cage and again put the baby inside the nest with female love bird and I saw the female is keeping the baby under her wings with other eggs.

What should I do now?
It seems problem is with male love bird.
Please help urgently.
Thanks

I'm no expert, but I believe taking the male out was your best bet. A female will care for her young on her own. Offer her food closer to her nest box. Hopefully if someone with more experience sees this they will chime in.

Thank you.
but I have a concerns that it seems male lovebird should feed the baby lovebird and in this case male is out of the cage ,do you think female also can feed the baby lovebird?

thanks
