She will eat "Rowdy Bush" but just barely, and only when it's mixed with millet.

She is an adopted rescue bird, between two and five years old.

She will not even eat bananas, apples, corn, or rice. She will not even eat little pieces of walnut, Brazil nut, or Almonds.

When I cover fruit of veggies with millet, she just eats the millet, and leaves the rest.

I cannot seem to starve her into eating anything other than seeds. I have not tried seriously starving her - I really don't want to do that.

no dont starve her..my girl Neon Guava has the exact same problem.. she's started eating carrots and rice though.. i'm still trying, she's gonna learn someday. dont worry about your bird.i suppose your bird wasnt introduced to veggies as a kid so she'll take time to learn, but it'll happen some day. im putting some links so you can check them out and see if that helps :D

My lovebirds were very particular in how the fruits and veggies were presented, they liked everything almost minced... chopped very small or they would just ignore it or throw it out. They would also eat most things if I made "birdie muffins" just add a whole bunch of different things or frozen veggies to corn bread mix or some flour and egg mixed together and cooked then crumbled in their treat bowl. They would also eat some things in an oatmeal/rice/bean mix I would make. Just keep trying, like with kids, one day they just might decide they like it.

My guys are just coming off seed only. I am sprouting it and adding crushed pellets. I also mix whole pellets, which sit to the end, but do get eaten!

Just keep offering different things. Mine wouldn't take anything other than seed and millet (and formula) when I first got them, but I kept trying, and now they are loving bananas and broccoli!

I keep containers of different veggies cut up for the cockatoo, and have started keeping containers with minced bits for the lovebirds. They get so excited when I put in the snack bowl in the afternoons now. I continue to offer them things that they aren't overly fond of yet, mixed in with their favorites.
