Welcome! Ask away!

My advice to new folks... take an issue or topic which interests you, use the Search Tab and then read about it. I do that a lot, still. Almost every day. The people here are an amazing source of information, advice, and support. I'm glad you found this place!

Welcome to the forum, I am new as well. For simple questions like this, the search option is very useful. Theres tons of threads regarding the use of cuttlebones for all tyoes of birds. You can type the question here: Parrot Forum - Parrot Owner's Community - Search Forums
To answer though, I always provide a cuttlebone although my sun doesnt really take interest in it. It is good to have in the cage as an alternative source for calcium unless a vet recommends otherwise if there is too much calcium being consumed but I wouldnt worry about that if everything is normal.

Hi - I give my lovies cuttlefish bone if it get it, but I've never seen them eat it. The easier source of calcium in my view is the calcium perch, which they tend to nibble at and eventually destroy.
