Nest behavior or problem?

I noticed something my lovebird seems to do, non of my other birds have ever done this. Jordan loves sitting in the palm of my hand while I give her head rubs. But what I noticed is that no matter how long it takes, she doesn't poop. She waits till I'm done petting her, then she walks away from my hand. I don't understand why she "holds it" But she does. Could this be because she was still using the nesting box before I got her? Is this something common?

She probably just doesnt want to poop where shes sitting. You can easily use this as the basis for potty traini g and avoid the issue completely since shes already showing awareness of it.

I imagine because she is very young lovebird. I don't know how old is she but I know lovebird chicks can't poop every where like adult lovebirds.
