Jordan is my female 12 week old lovebird. I put some spray millet in her cage, she went over to it, and tried to eat it. But she couldn't get any seeds off. Either she doesn't know how to eat it, or she's just making it won't get her.

I would try getting her out of her cage (assuming she has a grate at the bottom and you need a flat surface, plus it might help if it seems like a special treat) and putting a spray in front of her on a table or paper towel, but also rip a couple of the buds of seeds off of a spray and roll them around in your hand to knock some seeds off, and put the loose seeds and the loose buds next to the spray. I've done this when weaning baby budgies that don't quite understand millet sprays. Once they see that the loose seeds are the same as what's on the sprays they make themselves rip the seeds off.
