I thought I'd share my lovebirds schedule. So I feed my budgie and cockatiel first then I deal with Jordan. Jordan's schedules is much different than my boys schedule, the boys (Budgie and cockatiel) are fed in the morning, have out of cage time in the afternoon, and have their afternoon nap, then sing till bed time.
Jordan is fed at the same time, but she doesn't get out of cage time yet. Instead I spend the rest of the morning working on hand taming her. I do quick 10 minute sessions through the day, I do one before breakfast, one after lunch and one after dinner. I'm on day 5 of hand taming, but she seems to be just as scared. She wasn't screaming, she let me touch her toes, and she played with me and her toy back on day 3, since then the taming seems to be reversed. She is once again scared, she doesn't let me touch her, she won't come play.
I also think she's kinda bonded to my boys, if I leave the door open, she's go see them. But if I have them all together she starts nipping toes (I separate them before she does any damage.) so she's confusing me. Her evening and night schedule is the same as the other two.
They are uncover at 8:00 am everyday and coved again at 8:30 pm every night. They are fed at 8:02-8:05 am everyday, and they have their water changed immediately after that. The paper is changed out once a week in Jordan's cage and twice a week in my other cage. Toys and perches are switched every Tuesday. The entire cages are scrubbed once a month. These are my birds schedules. And it's a lot to add all this to my daily schedule (I have homework (I'm homeschooled) I have chores, I have to babysit my younger siblings from 8:20 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, and I also have a cat and dog to take care of!)
I'm a very very busy teenager!
Jordan also gets vitamins with her food, and that's an extra 30 seconds to portion out a tablespoon of that and mix it in with her food.
She need to be eating these vitamins till march.
