Parrotlettes,
Hi I just realized that I have a Fischer and peachface that have bonded after five years , I believe that they are both male , because there have been no eggs .I just found out that the two species should not mate , my question is after this long , can I put each one with a mate in their own species?I know that they can fight even kill another bird I would appreciate some advice , thanks

A Fischer and a peachface shouldn't mate? What? There are peach face and Fischer hybrids, so I don't see why not.
But if they are both males then that shouldn't be a problem.
I have a male cockatiel and a male budgie that have bonded. So I don't see a problem with two different lovebird species bonded.
If they've been bonded for 5 years I don't see a reason to get them mates of their own species.
They bond for life, and might not take to a new lovebird.

Just because two birds are bonded doesn't mean they should breed. There are usually lots of health issues when it comes to hybrid birds.

I own a hybrid lovebird, she's going to have health issues?
Anywho, I didn't mean that they can breed, I was saying, if they've been bonded for 5 years there might not be any problems with them being together. They might both be male.

Hybrids are generally discouraged for many reasons. Health being one.

If these two males are bonded great let them stay friends and live together. You shouldn't need to breed?
