I am not familiar with the proper terms of lovebird mutations, that said have some white fischers and some yellow ones. First does anyone know the proper name for these mutations? Also the whites had baby's but in about 4 months they have turned a turquoise /blue very light like water color and violet on the rump. I would genuinely appreciate some insight on this.

First off, those are beautiful birds!
Second, I've never heard of white Fischers, although I also don't know much about lovebird mutations.

Saw your Thread and its need to get 'bumped' back-up on the board so that it could be seen by someone with more insight than I have with this species.

Regarding understanding mutations and the resulting colors, I would think that maybe covered within a Breeder discussion group. With hope one of those Breeders may see your Thread and respond. If not conceder a Web Search of your species targeting variation in colors.

Hope that you get an answer to your question.

Enjoy!

I am not at all familiar , navigating this site, I have been looking them up and found dark eyed clear as a possibility but when the blue and violet showed up on the babies, I found nothing on that. My last search came up as pastel but honestly I do not have the experience to even guess. I purchased the white ones from an aviary that breed strictly yellow. The white was not bred for and and he only had a few. The babies hatched white, I have no idea where the blue came from.
