Real wood as perches

Ok so, I'm terrible at identifying plants, especially trees--how safe would it be, to place real branches in my cage as perches...? Is it not really recommended, generally a safe idea, or something I shouldn't be worried about or what? [emoji14] I have no clue.

Well....some simple research will provide you with both a "safe" list as well as the ability to identify species. As well as how to "sterilize" said branches.

Cooked off a batch of willow for Willow myself last night.

Basically any tree a bird uses as a nest is fine....but Id hit http://www.parrotforums.com/parrot-...afe-fresh-foods-toxic-food-lists-sprouts.html for a list of known safe trees. basically anything that bears fruit has been engineered over time to be safe by humans and safe for birds....check that link and if you have more questions just ask....
