Should lovebird listen to/watch other birds?

Our lovebird's name is Punky.

I have always felt it best to keep their little brains active. I don't like the idea of the birds having to stare at the wall, with nothing to think about.

Punky loves to watch other birds - either real or on video. She even imitates them.

We keep Punky by a window where she can watch outside birds. We also have bird videos we play on the TV where she can watch. Sometime, we put her outside, where she can watch birds at the our feeders and birdbath.

My concern is: maybe watching other birds gets her overly stimulated, and hormonal?

I very rarely put any kind of parrot on the TV - that would get her overly excited.

I try to put on low-key video. I don't want her too stimulated.

But, maybe it would be best to not have any videos at all? Maybe no exposure to outside birds either?
