Hi, I'm new to the forum and I need help with my lovebird Emerald
. I got her when she was starting to eat solid foods (she was hand raised) and she is now 3 years old. She was very cudly and playful until about 2 months ago. She started to become more reserved and quiet, so I figured she was just lonely because I've been studying more often. so I got her a friend, I named him Mango
. Mango is a wild lovebird that I got from a pet shop aviary and is very skittish around people(especially there hands).
The two of them are getting along very nicely but Emerald is beginning to become skittish and scared of my hands. They have only been together for 3 days and her behavior is becoming very different.
What can I do to maintain the playful and cudly Emerald that she used to be?
