Hey guys. I have been sitting here with my B&G Madison on my desk. I was playing with the different objects on my desk and I started picking three of them up, (one at a time) saying their name out loud, then putting them back down. I did this maybe 4 or 5 times with each one.
I couldn't believe it when I said to her, "Madison, pick up the paper roll". She immediately did so. I praised her like crazy and she was very happy. I then asked her to pick up the nail file and then the paper roll again (just to see if it was a coincidence!) and then my hair band. She did it correctly each time! even when I put them down in a pile on top of each other.
I was just surprised she was able to figure it out so fast. I think my birds understand a lot more than I give them credit for!!
Only problem is.. now she's strutting proudly around with such a huge head that she may not fit through the door! :59:

Madison normally delights in destroying my keyboards.. I'm sure she would have if I hadn't been sitting there. I can't blame them for the keyboard thing really.. it must be so much fun to slip the beak in and BOING the piece goes flying across the room. So many of 'em to spring across the room.. what fun!
Not so much fun for me, trying to type with a pencil in the key holes to Google a closeup of a keyboard... can't remember where they all go!

Yeah Popsicle is a keyboard nut too. First she likes to jump on top of it and do some typing, then when that gets boring it's get the tab key. She has a vendetta for that Tab key!!!
