Punky bobs his head up and down intently, like it seems like he's dancing. This seems like he is dancing

But my real question is, when he moves his head away nd then moves it back towards you in a sweeping motion and he does it repeatedly and his eyes pin, is he doing this in fun for attention or to be a little meany.

He usually does it when i have a treat in hand. we call it doing the 'crazy bird'

Input appreciated.

It's a macaw actually, not a zon. My zon does do that swinging around real fast of his beak, but only in the evening at bed time. He gets himself overly wound up in the evening and takes a long time to get settled down. So yes, I think that is a sign of being overly excited.

As for the dancing, macaws and conures both seem to like to bob their heads, for fun, or when music is on. My conure likes when I bob back at her. It's a game we have. She bobs, then I bob, and we repeat. Although it kind of gives me a little headache when I do it, lol!

Macaws bob their heads up and down when they are playing and really excited. This is just their way to show how happy they are.
