Constantly Swinging/Rocking

My 26yo B&G Koko, that we had recently taken in. Swings/Rocks CONSTANTLY. I dont know if it has something to do with OCD or something, but she needs to be rocking at all times, when she eats, sits, anything she does, which is pretty much swinging anyways. but she starts from when she wakes up to when she goes to bed. And if she comes to a stop she starts all over again

Have you asked your uncle whether she did this at his house, too? Or did it start when you took her in?

Since she's still fairly new to your home, she could be quite nervoes still. I'd still have her checked out by an avian vet as soon as possible.

How would I even go about getting her into a carrier, If we cant get our hands anywhere near her

If you really want to take her to an avian vet you will just have to use a towel to get her out of her cage and into a carrier. I really don't like toweling birds but you may have no choice. Good luck.

Dont you think that would be traumatizing for her?

Do you have someone in your area who knows how to handle Macaws, there are many ways in handling Macaws, I too do not like towels but sometimes you have to do what is best for the Macaw and your safty. You can also try a hand held perch to see if they will step up onto it,then place them into a carrier,
If you or someone you know, knows how to restraint the Macaw, this is sometimes better as you have full control of the Macaw and a lot safer for you.
You have to look at this, this way, If something is wrong with your Macaw, whatever it takes to get them to an Aviary Vet is most important here. It is not normal for a Macaw or any bird to rock and swing non-stop.
It could be that no knows how to handle them and they will do strange things to get attn.
How long has your Macaw been in their cage without interaction from you or previous owner. Joe

There is a lady around me who will come to your house to see your bird. As for interaction, she gets it all day long. Her previous owner, my uncle he would take her out every day, she had perches in other rooms, and everywhere he went she would go too. I think she only started this when I took her in, When my uncle had her she would come out of her cage all day long and only back in when it was bed time. But since I have had her she hasnt explored her cage or came out, though I do leave the door open for her at all times incase she feels comfortable enough to do so.
