Salty is mad at me

Just got home late last night from 2 weeks at my parents' in northern NY for Thanksgiving and my older daughter's school musical. The my husband stayed home and took care of all the f&fids (fur and feather) and Salty is not happy with me, every time I walk by his cage he runs over and lunges at me. He got my hair one time, pulled and didn't want to let go. I dropped a bowl and when I bent over to get it he tried to bite my butt

. He bit me the once when we picked him up but never tried after but he has it out for me now, silly bird. Hopefully he will settle down again.

AAWW! Salty is surely letting you know how unhappy he is that you left him for a short while.

I'm sure he'll forgive you soon enough.

Niko is particularly sensitive about being "abandoned", even if it's only a half a day. :54:

Max (alexandrine) gets really angry with me, when I work at 12 hour shift during the day... He will have nothing to do with me, and if I try to say 'hello', when I come home at 730 at night, he'll lunge at me... I do two of those a week...

I just leave him to it, and the next day, he's good as gold...

He's much better today, not lunging at me but still acting aggressive. But I gave him a shower and was able to get a peak at his leg band, he was born in Florida.
