Hahn's macaw, RIP George, Jenday Conure
Self explanatory title but I want to try and utilize our bathtub for my Hahns. He showers with me but never seems to get his full body involved. I was curious if warm or cold water was best.

Cold water is best. Some birds even love it ice cold! Think about what they may get in the wild. Although some parrots also enjoy warm bathes.

Remington likes to bathe in his water dish=cold water, however I am not into cold showers, so he gets both.... :)

All ten of mine prefer fresh cold water.

My flock likes cold too. But give Zora a lukewarm bath, and she.... huffs ? Like a 'HMPH! I'm mad!" sound. She also likes tapping the bottom with her beak, but then she gets water in her nares and sneezes. She doesn't tap if the tub is empty, though.
