Does anyone else's parrot sleep in the shower?

Rosie the Green Winged Macaw
Whenever Rosie takes a shower she ends up falling asleep. Just curious if anyone else's bird does this? She starts off very excited: dancing, singing & flapping. After a bit she just seems to relax but then nods off. She doesn't want to come out, just happy sleeping.

great pic!! Ours seem to calm down as well after a shower or good misting, usually preening mode first then nap time. :)

What a CUTE picture of sleepy Rosie. :D

Nah, my Macs sit there all bug-eyed, waiting for it to be over. Afterwards they are both quite riled up, wagging their tails, fluffing their feathers, preening, flapping, getting into trouble...as usual. ;)

Lucky, Quaker, abt 18/male?
Previous birds: 2 Quakers, 2 budgies, Nanday conure, Indian ringneck, 2 tiels, Red Lory, 300+ finches.
Too funny!

Lucky, my quaker, was dozing in the shower the other night. I was a little worried, thinking her new cage-mate tired her out during the day, or that she wasn't feeling well, or that it was past her bedtime, but she's fine.

Maybe she was just chillaxing like your Rosie.

1 red bellied parrot (Mango), 3 cockatiels (Bugsie, Alfie, and Bananas)
Mango also naps in the shower. He starts out all fluffy and excited, but he eventually nods off. He loves it in there, he will grind his beak and even stand on one foot. I think the sounds and the warms just chills him out.

Naaaaaaa, Mine do all that but fall asleep, instead just take a big Poo afterwards in the shower.

As long as they don't show any signs of over heating, they're basically just sitting back and enjoying the warmth! My conure falls asleep too, whereas my Ringneck will happily bathe in the shower for a good 10 minutes before tiring himself out and getting sleepy.

Sweepea doesn't sleep so much, as she does her happy squeal, and then when the water hits her just right, she closes her eyes and will stay in that spot until she has absorbed three times her weight in water...

Maggie is my happy flappy dancing bird in the shower.

Both my macs love water.
