A day of Fargo

Hi guys! Sorry i havnt been on the past few days!!! I have a bit of posts to catch up on I started a new tv show and when i start a new show i do nothing at all except watch it until i have finished haha

So i have some pictures! Although you already see so much of Fargo, but i never have anything new to talk about or ask the forum! haha


This is how i get cuddles, he sits on my chest, and leans into me and preens my hair, i love it!



And then i showed him a penguin teddy when he was playing, and he liked it haha



Then just a bit of playtime (while i was watching my show of course)




And i love this photo, even though its a week or 2 old, but i love how big his beak is compared to my lips hahaha

And then this is his new swing he got for easterrrrr

I love the way Fargo cuddles! Such a sweet parrot. In the evenings when it is "Momma Time" in which Valentino and I cuddle while I watch TV he will fluff and make his baby noises. It is very cute. He likes to be right up in my face and will preen my hair. I have been working on his head pin feathers which is why he is suddenly getting some red front feathers.

Last night Lupe came downstairs to get some water and I had nodded off so Valentino was lying up against my face preening me and licking me. Lupe walked up to us and Valentino protected me. LOL. I woke up to him making his macaw growl.

RFM like to roll like puppies but they will only do this if they have the trust in you. Valentino will roll all over my chest like a puppy and I have to be careful he will not roll off me onto the floor. I am sure my dog would get him so I am very careful to have my arm and hand as guards. Valentino does not seem concerned at all with rolling off onto the floor. He totally trusts I will not drop him. LOL.

I was curious of how many hours a day do you spend one on one time with Fargo. Does he have any independent play time where he is alone or in his cage?

I spent the last week moving, worst move of my life, afraid to know what else will break or just stop working... the two best experiences: Spencer had fun climbing up and down the stairs last nite (that big beak is amazing) and finally getting internet and seeing Fargo. Feels good to smile. Thanks Tab

Hahaha Yes no snakes this time, our little friend didnt come back after that afternoon, i am still not 100% calm when i walk into my room, the first thing i do is check my windows haha

Awwwwww noblemacaw thats adorable!! Valentino is so sweet, and he was protecting you hehe Oh i know about them rolling off onto the floor, Fargo has fallen off the chair many times :54: haha

I have no idea how long i spend with Fargo, i would say maybe 2 hours?

I have a stop watch on my desk, so today, i will count every time he comes and sits with me on my chair.. and then tell you the exact time he spends LOL but im assuming its around 2 hours maybe

He gets breakfast at about 8:45, and then he is out all day, but goes back to his cage for eating throughout the day, and then at 4pm he goes away for 2 hours while i do chores, and then at 6pm i clean his cage and he goes at eats or plays for an hour before bedtime!

He is pretty independent, plays by himself alot, he just had breakfast about 15 mins ago, now hes gone and played by himself, so he will come down to me when hes ready

Oh Cami, that would of been terrible! But atleast its all over now right? You can have a break for a bit! Hahaha So Spencer likes the stairs? :09:

Fargo's swing next to your computer is so cool. I try to have keiko with me when im on my computer but she attacks it how do you get fargo to not bite your computer????

Hahaha he actually attacked it more before i put the swing there, he always jumped to my desk and bit down into it.. now the swings there he is more occupied eating the wood blocks

He tried to climb up the handrail/banister but he'd slide back down, which was funny as heck. He has this look on his face as if accomplishment, he is so proud of himself and he's pretty quick too manuvering the stairs. Just another place for him to have fun while i'm up to my wazoo in boxes.

I'll try to get some pix, but he hates the camera, he goes after it. I can also get video on my droid, but don't know how to upload/download or whatever that terminology is...i'm a dork who is not a nerd I guess :22:

OK, so every time he came and sat on my chair with me, i timed it... and todays time was...... drumroll!

3 hours 43 minutes

So thats after getting out of his cage at 8:45am.. and it is now 4pm, he is at the chair again, he will probably go look out the window soon, and then will go in his cage until about 6pm, and then he might spend his last hour on my shoulder, or wait until i have finished cleaning and he will sleep on my hand until bedtime!

By the time he goes to sleep it will be about 4 hours a day he sits on my chair, the rest he eats, or plays by himself

Somedays when i ride my horse he is in his cage for another hour or 2 during the day
