Amazing day for Phoenix

Today was an awesome day for Phoenix. You guys know what it means when a bird will let you put them on their back, and hold them. Well look what Phoenix did today! My wife as able to do it with him first, and then he did it with me.

I didn't know if we would ever be able to get Phoenix to willingly be on his back like this, and if we were I figured it would be longer then a year. He is doing this, and we just brought him home May 21st.

That's just wonderful!! I remember the first time Skyler rolled over on her back on my chest.. it's an amazing feeling knowing you have earned their trust that way.. skyler is 7 months old... We got her when she was 7 weeks and wasn't. Sure how much she would trust us...you have a beautiful bird,: )
