This is why i love birds!

Do you ever have people just think you are crazy because you have birds, and they just think they are something that sit there and tweet, so how could you love one?

So many people don't realise the love they give!

I am not feeling very well, doctors again tomorrow hahaha

So i have just had to lie on my bed all day, playing PS Vita, and listening to music...

Fargo has just been lying with me the whole time... Cuddling into my arms, flopping around upside down, running up and down the bed and flapping his wings and jumping on me hahaha

Now i am back at my chair, and he is all puffed up and sleeping next to me..

He is just the sweetest little boy ever <3 I honestly don't even think of him as a bird? I have to remind myself that he IS a bird hahaha

I know right!!!!

I have some- not so nice- people in my family (aunties, cousins ect)

and they all think i am a weird 'looney' person, because i like spending time with Fargo, and they always tell me to leave him in his cage and he will be fine, he is just a bird, and doesn't need attention... :20:

It just amazes me how people don't think a bird is like a dog and need interaction?

Apparently i only care about my animals, and i will never get a husband hahahahahaha

Aww he's your partner in crime!! I'm excited to move into my new place without my sister and get more stuff for Meiko. She loves him to no end but she thinks I'm crazy for having so much bird stuff lol Maybe I am!!!!!!

I got him when he was just over 7 months! And he is turning 2 next month!

He bonded very strongly to me though, he loves other people, but only loves cuddling with me hahaha

I think it was about 2 months before Fargo started to really play upside down and want cuddles, and i guess he just preferred it that way, so ever since, he just flopped upside down to have playtime.. Strange little boy haha

It is like he started out as a bird, but i just turned him into a dog :54: hahahaha

Tab don't worry about the negative people. You love Fargo and he loves you. That's all that matters.

You will find a hubby one day that loves you for who you are and that will mean loving Fargo just as much as you do. That is what it is all about - finding that special person who shares your dreams and passions. You are only young and have plenty of time for that.

You two have a great bond and it is wonderful to see.

That is what my mum said- i love fargo and all the K's just like you do and i know how much they mean to you, please dont worry about what other family members say and do, it is what you do and what makes you happy in this world that is the most important thing

I don't worry about what other people think, i haven't even seen my family members since i was about 12 ! I don't like them, and they just gossip, hence i keep to myself

Yes!!! I dont see the rush, my friends just go out, go to parties, get a boyfriend, break up a few months later...

I would much rather have a career, and have my animals, and THEN find someone... I enjoy being independent!

Plus i have to wait for my english or irish guy, so i have very good patience

hahaha

Fargo is just tooooooo cute to describe!!!! My Lola is acting somewhat like Fargo these days, she's been very loving lately after I clipped her nails the other day which I had to cause they were sharp like needles where I had deep cuts because of it. She wasn't too happy about the nail cut but after that she's been different. She always liked me but even more so now, I would think she would be mad as heck at me but she's not....

Fargo is adorably sweet. You're so lucky to have each other. My GCC only cuddles my daughter but my Sun does let me cuddle him, which is awesome.

Fargo is great with getting his nails clipped, when i first would try he would try and fly away

but now he just sits there perfectly still.. Probably thinking- Well, hurry up and get it over with :31: hahaha

Thank you! Yes very lucky to have him, i wonder what my life would be like if i didn't have him, i think it would be very different!

Haha they choose who they want to cuddle!

Mum always says she wishes she could cuddle Fargo, he lets her give him scritches and play with him upside down though!

At least your Sun lets you have cuddles !

Yea Lola is going on 4 years old now I believe. When I got her Heather told me the first owner says she's about 3. I just wish I knew her exact hatch date. I really would like to know....She's quite strange I tell ya, she'll let my partner pet her IF I am not home. If I'm home, even when I'm upstairs, she seems to know I'm home even though she can't see me. She will not let my partner pet her what so ever. She also will dance with my partner when you say dancing dancing dancing, she starts to dance, but she will not dance for me if I say it to her, only if my partner says it to her she will do it. She also shows her butt to my partner, she wants to mate with my partner but then she turns around wanting to attack. She's done the mating thing a few times and I told her to knock it off, I put her back in her cage if she won't quit. So she doesn't do it to me too much. She's a strange cookie....lol

Fargo is just so cute!!

And trying to describe to people why I like animals can be a PITA. I usually explain and if they isn't understand I just walk away.

Kiwi has been very sweet lately too! Today she let me give her REAL scritches. Usually it's forced by me and she'll accept it for a minute, and then try to bite me, or make cooing noises, sometimes tipping her head backwards for a few moments, looking like she loves it and then try to bite me,lol. But today she was sitting all sweet, so I started scratching her, and she poofed up her face and just cooed and trilled... She looked so happy! It looked like she was going to bite me, so I quickly retracted, but then she just got a sad look on her face... It was so cute!

People who do not have birds DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE LOVE A BIRD CAN OFFER

Think of this.......

Birds do NOT break your heart, gossip about your OR back stab you EVER

They are not after your money, or the material things in life.

I honestly do not think a man could ever love me as much as Mishka does and visa versa !!!!
