What happens when a toddler meets Fargo?

The cutest thing ever!!

My nephew was over today, he is 6 days older than Fargo!! He doesn't talk much, but he is a very happy boy..

So every time Fargo talked.. Nicholas just laughed! It was hilarious

I have never seen someone be so amazed with a macaw... It was so sweet to watch the utter amazement on his face!


and then he fed him some nuts... Poor Fargo was eating and Nicholas was trying to feed him more hahaha

and i might regret this later, but because Terry and Shirre asked so nicely.. A picture of me and Fargo today.. I had to dress up pretty for easter.. So i thought i might as well take some selfies with Fargo, we only do it like once a year hahaha

I thought it was funny how he just lies anywhere


He kept trying to kiss me.. and i was like Fargo just look at the camera for a minute!!! haha

Nicholas face is too precious!! And what a contagious laugh your little nephew has! Every time he cracked up laughing, I followed suit.

WOW, Fargo took those treats unbelievably gently from those little hands. What a good boy!!!

And Tab, I am SO happy that Shirre and Terry convinced to take some selfies. You look GORGEOUS!

Hahaha Wendy, he also has this laugh, that we have no idea how he learnt it.. But he does this laugh, like a gremlin would have? It is sooooo weird

He still doesn't talk much, he just makes sounds mainly, but he is so happy!


Fargo was a very good boy!!

Fargo doesn't like toddlers, i am not sure why.. In town, he likes anyone, except little kids, he pins his eyes at them.. But he was very good with Nicholas, he was a little unsure when they came in.. But as long as someone gives him food he is happy

You get a real idea of how huge Fargo is, next to a little person. He's a whopper compared to my galah.

Yes he is a big boy when you put him next to children!! Shows how big their beak is compared to their little fingers as well!


It's just nice to see how children react to this huge bird!!

Maybe i can teach Nicholas to be a bird trainer with me when he is older

Well, I'm not going to say Fargo is better than an actual person.....

Fargo was probably ok with Nicholas because Nicholas was so relaxed with Fargo. They pick up on fear which is probably why he isn't keen on strange kids.

Yes that is true!!!
Nicholas was very confident with him.. Where as other kids are scared and a bit nervous because there is this big blue and gold thing!

Also helps that Josh (brother) was confident as well, Josh doesn't care about anything, he is fearless hahaha

Oh, how I wish I could get Simba to be like Fargo! I'd love to have my grandkids be able to feed him treats. You've done really well with him. He's a great bird.
