Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
I got Maggie as "someone else's throwaway." After what happened with Woody, and because I was moving from California to Texas, and my future was very much up in the air, I almost didn't take her. But my friend convinced me that I needed to... and she quickly became my most bonded bird!

This is actually one of my favorite parrot pics that I've ever taken. Top 5 anyway...

Maggie popping her head out from the tree and talking to me, eyes going, animated, and goofy. Put a bar code on her forehead. 100% organic, all natural goofy greenwing!

She is STUNNING, Mark. And I agree, the photo is magnificent! Belongs in a book and/or magazine. :D

Mark could I ask your permission to try and paint Maggie (that picture) in oils, I would of course post it for you to see when I finished. I have quite a few projects I am working on at the moment but I would love to see if I could paint this beautiful photo and I always ask first.
