I think GCC are playfull, lovable and go to multiple people. I would go to a bird shop and interact with different species and talk to lots of bird owners. Hope it helps. Bonita

Your describing the bigger macaws [talking is different with each one]. You know with having owned birds { its what you put into them}:)

Hey Cowboy! I don't mean to sound nosy but, what happened to the caiques, quakers, and conures you once owned? Is your heart set on a macaw or are you looking at other species? Maybe you could post pics of your cage?

Most parrots come fully equipped with number 4) intelligence and number 6) personality. The rest has a lot to do with health, species, socializing, training, and the parrot's general well being. In other words, healthy, happy parrots make good companions. :)
Even if you are lucky enough to find a parrot package that includes everything you are looking for, there's no guarantee the bird will behave the same way in his new home. Research can help your chances tremendously though.

Best of luck with your search for a future companion. Keep us updated.
