Hello, we just brought our blue and gold Maui home 2days ago. He is just over 4 months. He is super sweet, and loves to play and be handled, however he is not yet aware of the strength of his beak. He has gotten a hold of our fingers a couple of times, and won't let go... we need very basic bite pressure training steps. Also, any time we hold him on our arms he climbs right up on our shoulders and heads, what are some good ways to teach him to stay down? Thank you so much for your help!

I am using that method to keep Willow from dashing up onto the shoulder....as soon as I move that hand she makes a mad dash for the shoulder every time lol....she seems a bit stubborn.

They pick it up very quickly if you are consistent with it. And if you reinforce it as you go, it shouldn't become a problem.
