Should I worry?

Noticed Buddy scratched himself sometime last night/this morning. He's done it once before we had transitioned him from the basement to the upper part of the house. The first scratch stayed quite small, and didn't get inflamed at all, but this one has become very red since this morning, and I'm not sure if it's just the position of it, or if it's infected etc...

I've made sure the area is clean (just used warm water). He doesn't seem to be in pain, as he lets me touch around it, and didn't flinch when I spritzed it. I'm so new at this, I have no clue what's normal vs worrisome...

Thoughts?

Hi Elsha :) If Buddy allows it, you can put some Peroxide on a cotton ball and ever so gently dab it on the affected area (a few times a day).

My Niko bangs himself up every once in a while while playing too rough, and so far the peroxide has worked wonders for him (and me).

IF the redness persists and/or gets worse, please don't hesitate and contact an Avian vet though, ok?
