I bought a harness but he will have no parts of it. With the condition of his feathers I knew he needed some sunshine.

I had a older cage that is to small for him to live in. 5 ft tall but not to wide. I put wheels on it and took him out onto the deck. He has spend the WHOLE day out there yelling HI to the other birds.

A hawk was flying over head for awhile and he kept a good eye on him. Also the Sea gulls freaked him out a little but he can yell louder so the left.

It may not be the best way to get him outside in some fresh air and sun but I felt so bad about not allowing it. He would sit at the door and get some filtered light thru the screen .

Also gave him a good wet down that he seemed to enjoy.

Will take him out again tomorrow maybe I can get some pictures then

Kinda sad he keeps yelling hi to the other birds when they get close and they fly away LOL

I bet he enjoyed his time outside! The wild birds probably aren't quite sure what to think of a bird saying Hi to them.

The sun will be good for him.

I envy your pelicans, I've always thought they were such awesome birds.
