Affectionate beaking?

Heyyyy everybody.

So this is something I've been curious about for a while. My greenwing is a baby, almost 6 months old at this point, and I'm curious about whether or not beaking can be a sign of affection.

He's a big sweetheart and he's really well socialized; he doesn't bite anybody, but for some reason he's really nippy around me. He attempts to grab my fingers consistently, no matter how often I discourage it. He never bites hard, or maliciously, so I assume it's playing. On the rare occasion I've tried letting him play with my fingers and it gets him really excited. He babbles and moves around really frantically and flaps his wings, and all the times he's regurgitated on me have been when he's playing with my hands.

I'm aware that biting, even teething in a harmless manner can cause problems later on, but I'm curious about what I should do, is it a bad thing, and what it means.

Search the forum for bite pressure training. Zoe has my fingers in her beak more often than not.
